The Normal People actor, 27, has been the subject of bizarre rumours on social media, which claim that he takes potential love interests on walks around north London and then runs away from them.There is no evidence to support the claims, which began circulating in December.
During his appearance on Chicken Shop Date with Amelia, 29, Paul was asked what he considers to be a romantic date and his response appeared to allude to the viral rumours. "I love walking.
A good long walk is romantic to me," the actor said. Amelia then replied: "Simple pleasures,” to which Paul agreed: "I’m a simple man." Fans were quick to notice Paul's fun response and took to X, formerly known as Twitter to comment on it.
