Aldi has left customers divided after a controversial announcement about its checkout services. The budget-friendly supermarket is introducing a new way to shop in its stores, according to Birmingham Live.
For the first time, shoppers can now pick up their groceries in a check-out free store.The German chain has stated that the trial store is in London but has yet to reveal its specific location.Currently, the system is being tried out by employees and is not yet available to customers.B Fender wrote: "This tracking tech costs millions.
If Aldi can afford it they can afford to lower their prices, or employ more staff, or even pay existing staff more. It's not for me I have to say.
