Albert's Schloss founders' plan for new food and drinks venue backed by council

The project is the brainchild of Adelaide Winter and Joel Wilkinson, whose past work includes notable Manchester venues such as Albert’s Schloss, The Deaf Institute, Gorilla, and Trof.

Permission was sought to temporarily use the building opposite Mackie Mayor for a year, with the land earmarked for future development by Capital & Centric and the Kamani Property Group.

Speaking the M.E.N. in September, the project's creative director Adelaide said: "We have been searching for the perfect site for ages and we couldn't believe what a find the Capital & Centric site is.
