The 57-year-old actor is known for his role as crisis manager Eli Gold on 'The Good Wife' and won a Tony Award for his role in the stage musical 'Cabaret' but insisted he would be hesitant to take part in the jungle-based reality show because he has usually "never heard" of any of the contestants.
Asked if he would take part in 'I'm a Celebrity', he said: "When my agent tells me I've been asked to do these things, what I find hilarious is that I never know who these 'celebrities' are!
And I don't think that's a good sign. " Alan went on to explain that he has even been asked to take part in BBC ballroom dancing competition 'Strictly Come Dancing' "a few times" over the years and admits that while he understands why the Saturday night favourite has come knocking, it isjust "not his thing".
I have been asked to do 'Strictly' a few times. And various other ones. And I get why. I'm kind of famous and I'm also fun and personable and chatty - but no!
