Airdrie stand-in boss Scott Agnew says his side are flying after they dumped East Fife 3-0 to rack up their fourth successive League One win.The win cements Airdrie's third place in the table ahead of Saturday's clash at home to fifth-placed Falkirk.Jordan Allan opened the scoring for Airdrie inside two minutes and then set up goals for Adam Frizzell and Dylan Easton before the interval.Agnew was delighted with his side, while operating from a central midfield berth, and says they're hitting high levels of consistency. The former Hamilton and Alloa star, who was standing in for Ian Murray while he self-isolates, said: "I'm delighted, firstly with a clean sheet, our third in a row, I believe now.

I couldn't have asked for any better from the boys. "That's four wins in a row, it's got us flying and we're showing two sides to our game as well."Some of the football we're playing is great, but I've got to mention the back four and in particular the two centre-halves who were outstanding today."They were heading everything away, putting their body on the line, that is part and parcel of defending, but we're doing it."Up front Jordan Allan and Dylan Easton were causing havoc, with the latter earning the man of the match award for his all-round play.Agnew said: "Jordan has had to be patient, he's come in, and he took his goal really well.

It was a brilliant touch and finish, and it gets us off to a flier."Dylan Easton is Dylan Easton, he's so difficult to play against because he has so much ability, and he's really enjoying his football."We can only win our games and we're doing that consistently just now."We'll train hard this week and prepare for Falkirk next week."Follow Lanarkshire Live Sport onTwitter via@LanLiveSport, like
