Aberdeen still harbour "real concerns" over SPFL transparency as they insist their vote for an inquiry had nothing to do with Rangers.
The Dons were one of four clubs to vote for a probe into the governing body at today's emergency general meeting.The resolution needed 75 per cent support in each division to pass though and failed to secure more than 40 per cent in any.
On Tuesday evening Aberdeen explained why they'd voted for Rangers' resolution, and have now reiterated their concerns about the SPFL.
Cormack said: "Our decision to vote for today’s resolution had nothing to do with Rangers, or Hearts and Stranraer for that matter. "It had everything to do with Aberdeen Football Club and our real concerns over governance and transparency
