Abbey Clancy's health scare left her in tears after her legs went completely numb

Abbey Clancy has said that she "couldn't stop crying" as she thought she was suffering from a serious health condition.The model and podcaster said she was starting to feel numb from the waist down and went to a Multiple sclerosis specialist to figure out what was going on, writes The Mirror.

MS isa condition that can affect the brain and spinal cord, causing a wide range of potential symptoms, including problems with vision, arm or leg movement, sensation or balance.On her podcast Crouch Therapy, which she hosts with her husband Peter Crouch, 42, she opened up about her health scare, she said: "It's when I had these jeans on, they were so tight they would stop the blood where I was sitting down.

But googling it, it was MS [Multiple sclerosis]."Abbey added: "I'd been holding [the worry] in so much that when I got to the doctor, I went hysterical and couldn't stop crying."Thankfully, doctors told her she didn't have multiple sclerosis but was most likely dealing with a mental health condition called health anxiety (hypochondria).Peter then said: "Health anxiety is a thing, she has got an issue with that, I'd like Abs to worry less.

It feels like she takes on everyone's problems, It's a nice thing but it takes its toll." Hypochondria is a type of anxiety disorder that causes people to worry about being ill or getting ill.The couple, who have been married for 13 years, share Sophia, 12, Liberty, eight, Johnny, five and Jack, four, together.Their podcasts sees them discuss various different topics and problems.
