A Northern Quarter sherry bar had to close on Saturday night because of a crowd 'of very drunk people' outside

hereOwner Martin Hennin said he had has own concerns and had already stopped serving by the time police spoke to him at 10pm.He said there were 'a lot of drunk people' out that night and it became 'a bit difficult to manage people' outside."We stopped serving and we stopped letting people in before the police came to us because we felt it was getting too busy," said Mr Hennin."The police came and said 'it's too busy, people are standing now'.
