Reported Rangers target Xavi Simons orchestrated a stirring comeback for Paris Saint-Germain in European competition on Tuesday.
But instead of shining on the Champions League stage he was out of sight and out of mind in the UEFA Youth League. Dutch midfielder Simons, 18, lined up for the Parisians' Under-19 side as they took on Club Brugge's academy team known as Club NXT.
Simons, a former Barcelona youngster linked with a move to Ibrox by Spanish publication Diario AS last month, took action after his side went 2-0 down.
