According to Sport, Madrid are still hopeful of signing PSG's Kylian Mbappe at the end of the season. The Frenchman's contract is due to expire in the summer, however the wages that the 25-year-old would demand are expected to be huge.
It is understood Mbappe would cost £30m per year in wages, which accumulates to £150m over the course of his expected contract.
Such sums would see Real needing to drum up additional funds to compensate the deal.
