The donation is to celebrate a year of support from Warburtons to Emmaus Salford. Since April 2020, Warburtons have been helping the homeless charity feed the vulnerable by supplying 200 loaves of bread a week.

The loaves are shared between the Emmaus community – home to 24 formerly homeless people – and local residents who are members of Lucie’s Pantry.

Brett Warburton, Executive Director at Warburtons, said: “Supporting those who need it the most has been something our family business has always done, but it is perhaps needed now more than ever. "
