Violent man who 'may be hiding in Scotland' still on the loose as Crimestoppers offer £3000 reward

Crimestoppers has increased it's reward for information on the whereabouts of a wanted man who may be hiding in Scotland. Alan Jordan, from Sunderland, is described as a "violent offender" and is wanted for emergency recall to prison after breaching the terms of his licence.

Enquires are ongoing by police in the North-East and further afield following extensive searches by officers at various addresses in Wearside in a bid to locate the 29-year-old.However, Jordan remains at large after managing to evade police officers.

He is known to have links to Edinburgh, Derbyshire and Manchester. Crimestoppers previously offered a reward of £1,000 for information helping to the arrest of the 29-year-old but the charity has now tripled that reward to £3,000.Fleur Brown, North East Regional Manager at the charity Crimestoppers, said: “Alan Jordan is wanted for serious offences and, so far, has evaded efforts to find him. "Our charity is here to give people an anonymous option if they prefer not to speak to the police.
