Viewers complain Prime Time’s new set looks like a cocktail bar

evoke.ieRTE’s new look Prime Time team unveiled two new presenters but it was the dazzling new set that left viewers rubbing their eyes.
While Sarah McInerney and Fran McNulty’s did well on the show with viewers praising Sarah’s turn in particular, most viewers were too distracted by the multi-coloured backdrop to notice anything else.
And many viewers were not overly enthused by the space-age new look which they complained was simply too distracting. One viewer joked the state-of-the-art set up reminded them of a cocktail bar: ‘It’s like a 1990s office brochure meets a celtic tiger cocktail bar’, they wrote.
