Telco's digital media division also launches Yahoo Life wellbeing-focused vertical By Todd Spangler NY Digital Editor Verizon Media is giving away $10 million in digital ad inventory to groups responding to the COVID-19 crisis, with a focus on mental health.

The donation is earmarked for five mental health partners that aim to support high-risk populations affected by the outbreak, including LGBTQ youth, hourly wage workers and families struggling with mental health disorders, according to Verizon Media CEO Guru Gowrappan.

The company also is opening ad inventory to COVID-19 response efforts for the U.S.’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.
