Water levels at Greater Manchester's reservoirs continue to fall but restrictions on water usage are 'not being considered' by United Utilities.
Photographs taken by the Manchester Evening News earlier this week showed Dovestone Reservoir, in Saddleworth, looking a lot emptier than usual.
According to the most recent figures on the United Utilities website, Pennine Sources (such as Dovestone) are almost half-empty.
Pennine Sources were at 57.6pc of capacity in the week ending July 10, after dropping a further 2.4pc. In the last two weeks, levels have dropped by more than 5pc and are now 23.9pc down on the average yearly levels.
