Those under 25-years-old could soon be banned from smoking under new government plans. The scheme has been proposed in a bid to dramatically reduce smoking trends among young people throughout Britain.

It comes as a recently appointed tsar has been commissioned with the possibility of banning the sale of cigarettes 'on the table' after being given careful consideration.The anti-smoking tsar is working on proposals to reduce the numbers of smokers within different age groups.The Scottish Government is currently working towards plans to make Scotland 'smoke free' by 2034.
