Tyson Fury has responded to rumours of a potential unification of the heavyweight championship with a fight against champion Oleksandr Usyk.

The Ukrainian shocked the world earlier this year when he soundly beat Anthony Joshua, claiming his title belts after winning via a points decision in London.

It all but ended the prospects of a meeting in the near future between Joshua and Fury, who had previously agreed on a two-fight deal, before Deontay Wilder invoked his rematch clause earlier this year.

Both British fighters had wanted to unify the titles in fighting against one another, before Joshua lost his belts to Usyk. Now, the Ukrainian is universally seen as Fury's biggest threat to being crowned the number one heavyweight.
