Tyson Fury has backed American talent Jared Anderson as his successor as WBC world heavyweight champion, his promoter Bob Arum has revealed.
The 21-year-old caught the eye on the undercard of Fury's trilogy bout triumph against Deontay Wilder, stopping Vladimir Tereshkin in the second round - extending his record to ten wins, all by way of knockout, and zero defeats.
Anderson is set to be back in action on December 11th on the undercard of Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Richard Commey, which is primetime for TV coverage as it takes place following the Heisman Trophy.
