Two children found in sex offender's wardrobe

A male sex offender was found hiding a young boy and a young girl in his wardrobe in his bedroom. Just weeks after police discovered the two children, Jamie Roberts took two more boys back to his house.

They took drugs and drank alcohol and he suggested getting amphetamine as it "makes you really horny". Roberts, who goes by the name of Jamie Whelan, is currently under a sexual harm prevention order after he was convicted of child abduction.

Wales Online report that the court heard that in the morning of December 21 2021 the police were informed that a boy and a girl had failed to return to their care homes the night before.

Kevin Jones, who is prosecuting, has said the police investigation led to Roberts' flat and at 3.40am officers went and knocked on his door.
