TUI have sent out an important warning to customers in regards to the latest passport rules. The travel provider has sent out an email to all those who have booked a holiday this year.
The warning comes after one teenager was refused to board a Ryanair flight despite their passport meeting the new EU rule. Finance expert Martin Lewis has also warned holidaymakers to make sure they check their passports for certain criteria before they fly.
TUI have said customers who are travelling to some non-EU countries will require at least six months' validity left on passports on the date of arrival in the destination country.
They are recommending that holidaymakers check their destinations Foreign travel advice and to check their passport expiry date before they set off on their trip.
