Trafford Green Party group leader to step down

Coun Geraldine Coggins has been the party’s chief in the borough for the last three years. She was elected alongside Coun Dan Jerrome to represent Altrincham in 2018. Coun Dan Jerrome will take her place. Coun Michael Welton, also an Altrincham Green councillor, will step into Coun Jerrome’s former role as deputy group leader.

Coun Coggins said she will continue to represent Altrincham, with a particular focus on her party’s campaign for local action against the climate
