TOWIE star rushed to hospital for 'life changing' operation

ITVBe The Only Way Is Essex star Liam Gatsby has been rushed to hospital for a "life changing" operation. The 33-year-old - joined the ITVBe show in 2015 - faces surgery.

He will undergo a gruelling recovery after the op, he has announced. It comes as medics rush to deal with his hiatus hernia.

He wrote: "I would have still been in LA but the reason I came home was to have surgery. " He added: "I’ve been suffering with a hiatus hernia & acid reflux for a few years now but it got to the point where I couldn’t eat food & drink liquids at the same time without it coming back up. " He added: "Not looking forward to the next 6 weeks on a liquid / soft food diet so any tips from people who have had this surgery it would be much appreciated x. "His mum is looking after Gatsby while he recovers from surgery.
