Clementine Cowton, director of external affairs at Octopus Energy Group, reportedly told a fringe event at the Conservative Party conference that she had been 'violently assaulted' during an incident at the bar of the hotel.

GMP confirmed officers were called to the incident, in the early hours of this morning, and said no arrests have made.
