Dramatic images showed the vehicles engulfed in fire outside Asda off Leigh Road, in Leigh, at about 11.25am this morning (Wednesday, September 29).

Eyewitnesses reported seeing the red Ford ablaze before the flames spread to two other vehicles parked nearby. READ MORE:Teachers at Salford high school go on strike days after 200 parents also launch petition Firefighters arrived at the scene minutes later and put out the fire.

However, all three cars were left badly damaged. The blaze is not believed to have been started deliberately, the fire service confirmed.
