This Morning viewers were left disgruntled after a “pretentious” tasting segment was aired on the show which saw co-hosts Josie Gibson and Alison Hammond each drink a £130 water bottle.The presenting duo were joined by ‘water sommelier’ Milin Patel who introduced the pricey beverage to them as he discussed different types of water options currently available.
As Alison took a sip of the “delicious” water she asked if it was expensive, to which Mr Patel replied: "The price creates conversation”, before revealing the drink to be a hefty £130 a bottle, leaving both Alison and Josie shocked.

Watchers of This Morning were also taken back by the price as well as outraged at the show’s insensitive segment following the current war crisis happening in Ukraine, and the damaging increase in cost of living rates occurring in the UK. “There’s literally a WAR kicking off where people are losing literally everything, but they’re tasting £130 bottles of water on #ThisMorning," one upset viewer wrote on social media. "Bills going up, everyone literally skint, war started but #thismorning are telling us about £130 bottled water.
