Bury has fallen by 13pc in the space of a week. There were 1,003 cases reported across the borough in the seven days up to November 11, which is 150 fewer than the previous week.This means the infection rate fell to 525.2 cases per 100,000 people.The number of Covid cases fell everywhere except for seven neighbourhoods.In Unsworth, the number of new infections fell by more than 50pc in just one week.

Nuttall and Tottington, where only 27 new cases were recorded in that period, had the lowest infection rate in the borough with 361 per 100,000.

But most neighbourhoods have an infection rate above 400 cases per 100,000.Sedgley Park has the highest rate in the borough.
