The National Cancel Homecoming Festival 2020

The National have canceled their 2020 Homecoming Festival. “We made every attempt to reschedule Homecoming for 2020, however due to circumstances beyond our control, the festival will not take place this year as planned,” the band wrote in a statement.

Homecoming 2020 was scheduled to take place May 8 and 9 in the National’s hometown of Cincinnati. Find the National’s announcement below.

The National were due to perform High Violet in full at Homecoming. The band plans to release a 10th anniversary edition of the album on June 19.

Numerous 2020 music festivals—including SXSW, Boston Calling, Glastonbury, and Governors Ball—have been canceled due to COVID-19 concerns.
