Footage released by GMP shows the Mercedes, which is thought to have been stolen, weaving in and out of traffic as it was pursued along Great Ancoats Street on Friday.
Officers from the specialist Tactical Vehicle Intercept unit began following the car after it was found to be using cloned number plates.
