Oliver began trading from a lock-up garage and built Myprotein into a multi-million pound business employing more than 50 staff and selling products across the UK and Europe.

He left school at 16 with one GCSE and worked as a web developer before starting Myprotein, based in Wythenshawe.It manufactures and distributes protein powders, amino acids, vitamins and other products to help people build muscle, lose weight and supplement their diets.Oliver's personal donation will directly fund the wishes of around 100 children, focusing first on all the children in the Greater Manchester area waiting for a wish, with the balance going to support wishes for the children most in need.Oliver is now an author and businessman as well as the presenter.
