Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

The Dog House viewers left in tears by spaniel traumatised by years of relentless puppy breeding

VIEWERS of The Dog House were left in tears last night over a cocker spaniel who had been breeding in kennels her whole life.

During the tear-jerking episode, couple Phil and Ricky came to the Wood Green Animal Shelter in Cambridge in the hope of finding their perfect dog.

Staff at the centre believed the couple, who have been married for two years, would be best suited to seven-year-old Tia. The shelter team explained to the pair that the kind-hearted spaniel had been bred her entire life and they were looking for a loving home to give her a chance of a normal life.

A staff member told Ricky and Phil that Tia only recently had her last ever litter which would explain why she was "out of sorts".
