The dangerous haul of weapons now off the streets of Stockport after being left at a police station

Police have shared photos of a haul of knives that were left at a police station as part of a knife amnesty. Greater Manchester Police launched its  Forever Amnesty initiative, as part of its clamp down on serious violent crime, Operation Sycamore.A series of 'amnesty bins' were placed around the region to encourage people to anonymously and safely dispose of unwanted weapons.

Now officers have shared images of a selection of some of the 50 knives that were left in a bin at Cheadle Heath Police Station in Stockport.
