We have just completed our round-up of criminals locked-up in February but now it is time for another run in March. People have been locked up for all manner of  criminal offences with M.E.N.

reporters there to cover the most serious. There was the case of the disabled woman who had to crawl on the floor and 'barricade' herself in a bedroom after a carer sexually assaulted her.

There was also the metrolink driver jailed after he threw a passenger off a tram at 3am, leaving him in agony on the tracks with a broken ankle.

Elsewhere, a grandad had to have toes amputated after a statue 'completely crushed' his foot in a horrific incident caused by a drink driver - who was still twice the limit five hours later.
