Supermarket giant Tesco has issued an urgent recall on a batch of biscuits. Shoppers have been warned not to eat the affected products, and to instead return them to the store for a full refund.
Packs of Tesco Free From Digestive Biscuits, which cost £1.30 each, have been pulled from shelves over fears they may contain metal. READ MORE: Disgust over plane banner flown over the Etihad during Man City v Liverpool match The affected packages are 160g and with an end date of March 2023.
No other date batches are affected. The Food Standards Agency issued the recall notice on April 8 and advised shoppers not to eat the recalled biscuits.
A statement on the FSA website reads: "This product may contain small pieces of metal which makes it unsafe to eat." It continued: “If you have bought the above product, do not eat it.
