Teenager rushed to hospital after beach brawl during massive gathering of youths in Troon

hospital after being assaulted during a big beach gathering of youths on a Scots beach. The 16-year-old was part of a group of around 20 youngsters aged between 14 and 16 who massed on Troon beach on Saturday.

A fight broke out and the boy received a serious injury to his face at around 5.45pm. Police and ambulance raced to the scene but the rest of the youths had ran away.The boy was rushed by ambulance to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock where he was treated and later released.Now cops have called for anyone with information or CCTV footage to come forward.Constable Kieran Young of Ayr Police Office  said: “Most of the group involved headed off in the direction of the train station immediately after this incident."We have been carrying.
