Cops were called to reports of a breach of coronavirus restrictions at a house on Gloucester Avenue, Marple, at around 1.30am on Friday.An officer was assaulted.She was taken to hospital with a suspected broken jaw, but her injuries were not as serious as initially thought, a GMP spokesman said.A 49-year-old woman was has now been arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.She remains in custody for questioning.
