Charlie Elms, 25, died after a reported disturbance outside a house in the Limeside area of the town on Wednesday, May 26 this year.

Mr Elms died of a single stab wound to the chest, the opening of an inquest into his death held in June was told. READ MORE: Man arrested in dawn raid for attempted murder after shooting Yesterday (Thursday), a 17-year-old boy appeared at Manchester Crown Court charged with his murder.

The teen, who cannot be named due to legal reasons, is also charged with violent disorder. Dressed in a grey sweatshirt and jogging bottoms, he spoke only to confirm his name.
