A cascading poppy display was unveiled at the Imperial War Museum in Salford Quays today, ahead of this year’s Remembrance Sunday.
The artwork, called Poppies, was originally shown at the Tower of London in 2014 to mark the centenary of the start of the First World War.
In total, 888,246 flowers were in the artwork — one for each British or Colonial life lost on the front lines during the conflict.
