stoned and speeding on a stolen scrambler bike when he crashed into and killed a "much-loved" woman.Rebecca Cooke, 26, was taking a daily walk in between working from home when Daniel King mowed into her after swerving onto a pavement to try and avoid a police car.Ms Cooke was thrown into a pillar by a wall causing catastrophic injuries and later died in hospital, Liverpool Echo reported.King, 28, was today jailed for eight years and three months after admitting causing death by dangerous driving.King was spotted speeding through Childwall and Huyton on a KTM530 bike on March 1 this year, Liverpool Crown Court heard.Geoffrey Lowe, prosecuting, said the bike was speeding in the direction of Roby Road as a BMW X5 police car was approaching.
