Wishaw boss Martin O’Neill has mixed emotions about their 2-2 draw at home to St Anthony’s on Saturday, saying it’s both a point earned and two dropped.The Beltane Park side were 2-1 ahead in their West of Scotland Second Division clash, and O’Neill reckons they had a goal wrongly chalked off that would have given them a 3-1 lead.But he says a draw with eighth-placed Ants is an indicator of progress as Wishaw attempt to climb out of the relegation zone.O’Neill said: “In terms of overall circumstances, in terms of where we are, recent form and results, it was a point gained.“But probably on the day it was two points dropped, and I said that to the boys.“We actually ‘scored’ a good goal to make it 3-1, and it would have just finished it with seven or eight minutes to go, but the referee chalked it off.“He actually didn’t see one of their players on the goal-line and gave offside, and they then flung the kitchen sink at us a wee bit.“On the day it felt like two points dropped, but over the course of the week we would probably have been happy with the point.“We had eight players starting that are new to the club, so we’re getting one or two of the boys back that we signed, but who then picked up injuries.“There were a lot of positive things, the dressing room had a bit of disappointment and satisfaction, and that bodes well.“When was the last time we came off the pitch, disappointed with a draw?”Wishaw are idle officially until they host Caledonian Locomotive on December 30, but O’Neill says he will keep his players ticking over until then with bounce games and friendlies.He said: “I think at this time of the year it can be quite grim, in terms of training and stuff, so we’re going to play a game on Thursday night, train
