Two episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants are gone from streaming. The episodes, “Kwarantined Crab,” and “Mid-Life Crustacean,” were pulled from Paramount+ and Amazon due to inappropriate content, according to CNN on Tuesday (March 30).
Season 12′s “Kwarantined Crab” follows the story of a virus, and a health inspector finding a case of “Clam Flu” at the Krusty Krab.
The patrons are quarantined, and those who are assumed to have the virus are tossed into the freezer. The removal comes amid a rise in anti-Asian violence in the United States which has prompted many celebrities to speak out.
