South Lanarkshire Council scoops award for diversity and inclusion

South Lanarkshire Council has won a public services award for its work with the Gypsy/Traveller community.The council’s housing and technical resources’ partnership work with Gypsy/Traveller communities saw them gain recognition in the 'Building Diversity and Inclusion' category at the Municipal Journal Achievement Awards 2022.

Executive director, Daniel Lowe, told Lanarkshire Live : “Huge congratulations to all the team for winning this award – it is real testament to the hard work everyone involved has put in to make this project a success.
