Just when you thought the football season was over, there is another high-profile footballing event taking place with some very familiar, including many non-sporting, faces.

England and World XI FC are set to go head-to-head once more as Soccer Aid returns. And the competition is well and truly on as England try and claw back a win and bring the overall stakes back to a draw after the World XI FC side took the lead last year when the event took place at the London Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford making it five wins to six.

Soccer Aid will again be raising money for UNICEF to help with its mission of providing vaccines, tackling malnutrition and protecting children in times of crisis, such as the conflict in Ukraine and eradicating polio by being part of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative.
