England and World XI FC are set to go head-to-head once more as Soccer Aid returns. And the competition is well and truly on as England try and claw back a win and bring the overall stakes back to a draw after the World XI FC side took the lead last year when the event took place at the London Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford making it five wins to six.
This year, the competition has headed back up north and will once again see former footballers, singers, actors, and more are set to take to the pitch at the Theatre of Dreams, aka Manchester United's home of Old Trafford, as England try and claw back a win from the World XI FC side Join our WhatsApp Top Stories and Breaking News group by clicking this link Rapper Stormzy will make his Soccer Aid debut as England manager as Lioness legend Jill Scott will captain team England while former Love Island star and boxer Tommy Fury will make his first appearance for World XI FC.
Soccer Aid will again be raising money for UNICEF to help with its mission of providing vaccines, tackling malnutrition and protecting children in times of crisis, such as the conflict in Ukraine and eradicating polio by being part of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative.
