Glasgow gangland figure Omar Sadiq has been vandalised with flowers appearing to have been set on fire. The memorial was erected to Sadiq after he was stabbed to death near the city's Silverburn shopping centre last Tuesday in what is believed to have been a targeted hit.
Pictures show the devastation with flowers seen trampled and apparently charred with fire, on the same day Sadiq is laid to rest.Mourners flocked to Glasgow Central Mosque for the send off.
A large collection of flowers, candles and balloons had piled up after the attack on Sadiq on September 15.But new pictures taken today appear to show the shrine has been attacked with flowers trampled underfoot and tell-tale signs of an attempted fire.The plants are blackened with some.
