As part of a support package for students sitting tests in England, there will be 'generous' grading, with those taking some GCSE, AS and A level qualifications seeing changes including formulae and equation sheets in a few exams and less topics to memorise.
Exams regulator Ofqual has said the package is intended to be 'as fair as possible' to pupils given the disruption they have faced due to the coronavirus pandemic.
But assessments are expected to return to normal standards by 2023, according to the Department for Education (DfE) and Ofqual.
