'She was a lovely lady...' mum-of-two stabbed to death in Stalybridge named as friends pay tribute

The 45-year-old was found critically injured at a property on Lake Road having been stabbed 'multiple times,' police said. She was taken to hospital in the early hours of Wednesday (7 July) but sadly died a short time later. He remains in custody and is currently being questioned by detectives. A spokesperson for Manchester Coroner's court confirmed a file relating to Ms Padi's death had been passed to the coroner.
