In 2009, she finished in third place on the sixth series of The X Factor, and gained a number one single on the UK Singles Chart when her fellow The X Factor finalists released a cover of "You Are Not Alone". Get Me Out of Here!. Her debut single, a cover of "Driving Home for Christmas", was released on 19 December 2011. Solomon then released her debut album Shy on 18 April 2015. In September 2016, she began appearing as a panellist on Loose Women and in November of the same year she presented the I'm a Celebrity spin-off series I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp.
Scottish census warning as North Ayrshire completion rates published
dailyrecord.co.ukNew figures have been published showing the number of households who have completed Scotland's census in towns across North Ayrshire.According to the National Records of Scotland (NRS), 77 per cent of households in the Saltcoats, Ardrossan and Stevenston areas have returned their form.The figure is 79 per cent in the Irvine area while Largs, Kilbirnie, Beith and Kilwinning fare slightly better with 81 per cent.The Wemyss Bay area has the highest completion rate of 88 per cent, data released today shows.
Householders across Scotland have a legal responsibility to fill in the census by the end of May and failure to do so could result in prosecution and a fine of up to £1,000.
