Spain who don't self-quarantine will face fines of up to £480. The measure could catch out returning tourists who travelled to Spain in the short window when quarantine was lifted.

The Scottish government re-imposed quarantine for Spanish inbound flights on Saturday evening - just six days after quarantine was lifted.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon tweeted: "Having reviewed the latest data earlier today, @scotgov is also reimposing 14 day quarantine for travellers returning from Spain.
