A graffiti artist who started out vandalising buildings as a bored youngster is now being paid to brighten up Scotland's towns.
As a teenager, Tragic O'Hara stalked the streets in the dead of night armed with spray paint, trying to avoid the police, to graffiti walls.
But after honing his skills across west central Scotland, he now gets paid to do what could have landed him in jail. Over the years, his work has included painting a huge shark for a homeless charity in Glasgow.
And the 35-year-old, real name Steven McIntyre, now creates paintings and sculptures for various councils. More recently, Tragic, of Ardrossan, Ayrshire, created a series of "metal jellyfish" sculptures to brighten up Greenock waterfront.
