Scots man seconds from death ‘given life back’ by hero paramedics after severe heart attack

A Scots man has been ‘given his life back on a plate’ after being saved by an ambulance crew while seconds away from death. Scott Wilson, 56, of Bridgeton, Glasgow, collapsed outside of his sister-in-law's home on Sunday, September 26 after he began suffering chest pains.

He had been felling unwell for the past few days but thought that it was just indigestion, according to Glasgow Live. However, it wasn't until Scott noticed that the pain wasn't subsiding that he realised he was in serious danger - but it was too late.

He suffered a heart attack so severe that doctors didn't expect him to survive on the way to the hospital. Not only did Scott survive until he got to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery, but he was also conscious
