A former soldier who set up a charity to train ex-Scots squaddies as lorry drivers has launched a 'desperate' bid for cash after UK Government funding ran dry.Before the pandemic, in April, 2018 the SWS RnR charity was given a grant of £130,500 to help former military personnel re-train to take to the country's roads delivering vital supplies.The money was to be spread out over three years, with boss Robin Hood saying he was told by Treasury bosses that more would be given if he 'did a good job.'Robin, who lives near Castle Douglas in Dumfries and Galloway, said he had used the cash to pay for training for more than 60 former soldiers.But now he is facing a £25,000 funding hole to finish training around 10 Scots who want to take to the
